Small Distal Radius Y Plates (Dorsal)
Dorsally displaced fractures, intra or extra-articular fractures with metaphyseal defect, open joint reconstruction, combination of distal radius with carpal and metacarpal fractures, corrective osteotomies.
Distal Radius Locking Y Plates are indicated for fractures, osteotomies, and nonunions of distal radius.
Thickness: 2.0 mm, Width: 8.0 mm, Distance between holes: 13.0 mm.
Use 2.4 and 2.7 mm small screw in the distal portion of the plates. 3.5 mm cortex screw can be used only in the shaft of the plates.
Wrist Radial Pin Plate
Distal Radius Locking Plates are indicated for fractures, osteotomies, and nonunions of distal radius.
Anatomically shaped radial and ulnar column pin plates can be used for extremely small distal fragments or for stabilization and fixation of specific fragments.
A Fragment Specific implant that supports the radial column and helps restore radial inclination for intra-articular wrist fractures. The plates contour directs forces to compress DRUJ.
Fragment Specific solution with an interfragmentary K-wire fixing: the dorsal sigmoid notch fragment can be fixed into its place. It can fix dorsal ulnar fragments which are too small for standard plates and it has lower profile than standard dorsal plates.
Thickness: 1.6 mm, Width: 5.5 mm, Distance between holes: 5 mm.
Use 2.4 and 2.7 mm small screw in the shaft portion of the plates.
Calibrated Pin 1.2 mm can be used only in the distal portion of the plates.
