Eight Growth Plate
Whatever its etiology is the plate is applied for gradual correction of the angled deformities of upper and lower extremities (on the ends of long bones) during the adolescence and puberty periods (from 18 months old up to 17 years old). Ankle valgus, elbow varus, knee valgus and varus, and oblique plan flexion deformity and recurvatum cases can be evaluated in this scope.
Suitable for the patient to be applied, anatomical structured, having four different lengths (12, 16 24mm) titanium alloyed plate.
Simplifies the fixation on the physis (growth plate) by the K-wire holes on the centre and the both ends of the plate.
Provides simple, short and not complicated application opportunity by ambulatory care method.
Subsequent to the operation, movement directly and normal recovering process not restricting daily activities are gained.
Flexible, non-locking screw-plate hole structure providing the screws to be seperated like a joint (till 24 degrees for each screw) without restraining physis development subsequent to the application in the region on that 8 Growth Plate is applied on one sided.
Safe deformity correction is provided with the Cannulated or Usual, Full Threaded, Spongios Screws having ability to resist the existing forces here. The diameters of the screws are Ø4mm, the lengths of those are different sizes from 14mm to 40mm and titanium alloyed.
